| This article show spatial analysis of the movement of the displaced persons by violence in Colombia in the last few years. The analysis starts with the problem statement of the possible causes and effects that the forced migrations have within the country. The spatial analysis includes flow and cloropleth maps to identify the departments and municipalities most affected by the displacement as well as the identification of the main cities where the displaced ended and what are the characteristics that make them move from rural to urban areas. It also analyzes the internal department displacement that present more define patterns of the movement. We also included some development indices throughout the country to try to project the migration patterns. | ||||||||||||||||||||
