The Greater Dallas Chamber's Ultimate Objective:
This project is the first step in the Greater Dallas Chamber's ultimate
objective, which is to create block group-level estimates of the 2005
Labor Market, for their database. The Chamber currently provides
2000 Labor Market estimates, and is working to update them to 2005.
Following is an example of the database their website has aggregated, for
areas within a 5 mile radius*:
This interface provides estimates of the labor market for 150
occupations, for a 5, 10 or 15 mile radius of any location within the Dallas /
Fort Worth region.
This second objective is beyond the scope of this project.
